Christmas Weekend

Another short week this week so we need to make the most of it.   We got a nice layer of snow for Christmas, something Nashville and it's surrounding areas have not seen in many years.

This week the weather looks great, I was out a bit today and the roads are clear.  Forecasts are calling for a warming trend through the week and a rainy New Years Day, perfect for hanging out with friends and family to watch a little football on the tube!

Here's a 7 day forecast, we may continue to see some flurries but nothing major.

Did you see Philadelphia????   Projected 20 inches.  whew!  The city cancelled the football game there, it will be played on Tuesday night.  I also have a friend in New York city that is getting snowed on pretty good about now.

It's been a crazy winter so far.

Christmas Storm in Nashville?

Another storm approaches.   If you watch the news you have probably seen the heavy rains out in Cali and Zona this week causing some crazy mud slides.  My parents are spending the holidays in Palm Springs and left Oregon a week early so they could make it through all the mountain passes that close up this time of year when big storms hit.

Anyways, it's heading our way.   Depending on the channel you watch it looks like this could slide just by us to the North and not do much of anything.   Or, it could hit us directly and we have.....SNOWMAGGEDDON!!!! **boom**crash**thundersound**loud noise**

News Channel 5 gives a 70% chance of Christmas Snow

Weather Channel gives us a 60% chance.    I can tell you as of last night we only had a 30% chance.  So it's changing every day.

Compliments Coming In

Keep on providing LEGENDARY SERVICE!!!!

******This came in yesterday -

Dear Thashana,

Thank you very much for taking your valuable time to look at my account once again.  It takes a special kind of person to pursue a customer service issue beyond what is expected.  I must admit that I am also at fault for some of the confusion, since I placed multiple renewal subscriptions so far in advance.  Customer service at magazines.com is excellent.  And for that reason, I continue to place all of my magazine subscriptions through magazines.com, not just for myself, but also for my family and friends.  Thanks again.  Have a wonderful holiday season.

Sincerely,

Christopher

*****Another one from yesterday  -

I just wanted to say thank you to Lissa Clem & her supervisor. They provided superior customer service, & I am glad to receive my magazines through your service. With service like this, I will keep coming back!
Jennifer

*****Cat specifically asked me not to email this to everyone.  But said nothing about the blog so here we go.  :)

Dear Catherine,

Thank you for your gracious and quick help.  It was a pleasure speaking with you.  If you send me the name and e-mail address of your supervisor I would be happy to let him/her know what a great customer service rep you are.

Thanks again.

June

Snowmageddon

The Ice Storm that Never Was!

Should be a rainy night and morning but the good news for us is about 8pm was as cold as it was going to get.   We let the night shifters out at 8pm just to be safe, they had ice crusted cars.

Around midnight the temp will get up to about 34 and increase to 38 or 39 by 6am in Cool Springs.

Nashville is already at 34 degrees and the roads were 100% fine.   About the worst part of my drive is my driveway which is still ice from the weekend, I like to play around on in and do donuts.  :)   (don't you dare tell my wife!)

The Preds played pretty bad for the 1st 2 and 3/4 periods.   But what a last 5 minutes.   2 goals and held off a 6 against 4 for almost a full 2 minutes to steal a game from the San Jose Guppies!

We'll see you all tomorrow.

Hoping to see this tonight at the Preds Game

BIG HIT!

Wednesday December 15

No storm yet.    Business as usual this morning so we will see you there.   News this morning is saying "a mix of ice and snow in the afternoon".    So we will keep an eye out through the day.

Preds game tonight and I know we will have at least 2 attendee's.  Hopefully the weather stays out.   It's supposed to be 46 degrees tomorrow so we look good for then.

Reminder - We will be closing the center down from 12noon-130pm  on Friday for our Christmas Party.
