Running out of stuff!!!

I'm a little bummed that despite giving away cash money only a handful of people are playing on some days. And, some of those that do are only doing so because they are reminded by people around them.


Maybe I'll take a couple days off from the contest?

























Nah, here's what's going to happen today. If you want to be in today's drawing you must let me know. Tomorrow morning I'm gonna put all who entered into a hat and draw a name, the 1 I pull wins. Now, if you go telling everyone you will drastically decrease your own chances.

I also would like for you to head on over to the ops room and let those ladies know how much you appreciate the work they do for us.

No contest for Tuesday

We are 65% through the month at this point. As a team we are on track to come in right at our budget so the month has been good to us.

Congrats to Cedric who has already made goal!!!!

We have 8 people on track to make goal.

1 or 2 others that will make it once I factor in their project time.


There is still plenty of time left for everyone. I know I say it all the time but we must make the most of EVERY call. Those who are on track do a great job of not letting opportunities slip by.

Every customer counts.

Monday ~ A new week

Hey gang,

We have been doing great this month. Let's keep it going and improve just a little bit more. 1 more explanation of services, 1 more happy customer, 1 more sale, 1 more cross sell, 1 more save!

We need to make the most of every call and realize that every call is important. Every customer is important.


Today's prize will be awarded to the person with the top overall sale. That is the largest single order under 1 order number. 1 person with 2 order numbers does not count. Largest single order number of the day.

Since I do not have any way to track this in the system if you would like to be considered you will need to send it to me at the END of your shift. Not the next day.

Friday, last day of this week!

We're right on track this month and we want to keep it going. Today I'd like to see what we can do in terms of pricematching.

Person with the highest number of sales in price matches. Make sure you are using the proper affiliate code as that will be what I use to determine the sales.

It may be a lot to keep track of but it's worth $100

Here's Monday's contest -

Step 1 - You have to know what our top 10 titles are. So look that up.

Step 2 - You have to track them and send them to me at the end of your shift. Order numbers please. I trust you, but for $100 I need to see some proof. :) Last time I did a total count contest Bill sent me an email that said he sold 32. pfft!

Step 3 - There is no step 3, just do the 1st 2 and that will be it. When you send me your tracking sheet please do not add any extra titles, this will eliminate you. Only the top 10.


Total number of sales for those 10 magazines will win. In the event of a tie we will go to sales.

Straight up sales today. Top sales brings home the cashola.


You also need to stop by the classroom and say hi and introduce yourselves to the 2 new employees.

I love to laugh and I have a ton of favorites. I don't think anyone picked a movie I don't have on my tops list. But to get me really going it's got to be a classic. Airplane? close. Better off Dead? GREAT movie, but not my #1.

Hey gang,

I'll be announcing the winner of yesterday's $100 in a bit. But today we have another $100 to give out. This will be the last one of this week, more for next week!

What do you have to do today? Just a couple things......

1 - Sell some National Geographic. Sell the most 1 year subscriptions to be precise, we have a new price and it should be celebrated.

2 - I will need you to track this one, so you'll need to send me your order numbers AT THE END OF YOUR SHIFT TODAY. Not tomorrow morning!

March 1st, 2011 - Incentive

Since our operations department posted checks yesterday I have decided to begin this month with a bang. Today's incentive will be painfully simple. We have quite a few people that seem to have trouble following steps so many of this months challenges will revolve around that.

Step 1 - Send Jason an email with your favorite song.

Step 2 - Be the top seller (overall $$$) of all the people who sent me their favorite song.
