March is MONEY Month!!!!

More accurately, gift card month. Keep checking every day to see what the contest is.

THE PRIZES - $100 Amex or Visa Gift Card

THE CONTESTS - Each day will be different, you'll have to be on your toes and checking the blog at the start of your shift, don't want to miss an opportunity.

THE DATES - We will run a contest 4 days each week, we will skip Tuesday since that is check day.

"But Jason can I win more than once?" I don't know, can you? Are you that good? We are going to try and mix up the games so everyone has an equal chance to win, but a motivated salesperson can come out big this month.

Thursday

I'm getting messages from people. Some good, some not so good. The news is showing live shots of main roads which all look pretty good. Off ramps and secondary roads still look sloppy.

If you think you can make it in go ahead. Be safe. Check out the tdot cameras here

Those are Nashville cames, there are a couple of Frankliln cams here...

As always, be safe 1st. The sun is out pretty bright so that radiant heat should really start helping.

I am home with Riley (daycare closed). The wife made it in to her work going slow and steady.

Finally Home ~ What about Tomorrow?

For me the day started with me leaving the house at 6am, getting home at 10pm. I know some people are still out there. Old Hickory seems to be the biggest offender of the evening. I'm told it's solid ice, fun times.

I drove through Nashville, up I65 and out I40. Not too bad, 1 lane on 65 was pretty clear and the other lanes were more slushy than anything. Some build up between the lanes.

Tomorrow - Let's do the ole favorite, start with a 2 hour delay and go from there. The snowmaggeden seems to be over for now, let's see how the roads get through the night. I think the interstates will be fine, but as usual the side streets are not going to be friendly.

Here's the classic "this is how much snow we got" shot.

And the "how deep the puppy prints look in the snow" shot.

Now let's see if my crocodile hunter accent comes through in these next shots.

Here we have the siberian husky. A strange and unusual animal.

Notice how she blends in with her surroundings in the snow.

She's on the hunt! Her target??? A squirrel that has been pestering her from high in a tree!

What a day!

Sheeeesh!

At 3:30pm in Cool Springs it was total grid lock. The grid lock had less to do with the weather and more to do with the panic of the weather. After spending about 2 hours and NOT getting out of Cool Springs I called the wife and told her I was heading back to work.

I know there are some a little irratated with me but I stayed open because there really wasn't anywhere to go. Those who left were stuck in traffic. Now at 8:30pm the volume of traffic is starting to clear up.

I've heard several stories of people getting home, slowly! Bill told me he was not home after about 3 hours. Hopefully he's there now.

DRIVE SAFE!!!

Will it ever stop?

Yo, I don't know, Turn off the lights and I'll glow
To the extreme I rock a mic like a vandal
Light up a stage and wax a chump like a candle.

whoa, flashback.

More snow is in our forecast, the Magazines.com weather center has been tracking a moist front coming in from the south that will undoubtedly combine with some frozen air along with a high pressure jet stream which will bring us snow today.
